The Williamsburg Tourism Board is in the process of planning the annual spring festival. Formerly known as “Come See Me Weekend,” the board has changed the name to Heritage, Homes, and Horses Festival. After much discussion, the board made the decision based on the fact that the festival promotes Williamsburg’s History and the heritage of lancing. In addition, the Come See Me Festival is being used in Rock Hill and there were concerns that our festival was infringing on Rock Hill’s long standing festival name.
The dates for this year’s event will be April 26-28. As before, the festival will feature the Annual Art Festival on Sunday, a Lancing Tournament on Saturday afternoon, and a special event entitled; Colonial Days at Thorntree which will be held Friday night and Saturday. In addition, Cassandra Rush will promote planting days at the Vineyard. Mark your calendars and plan to attend the Heritage, Homes and Horses Festival in Williamsburg County.
